NimScalo is an independent advisory firm. We help leadership teams understand their business, set direction and governance, and make sound technology decisions.
Growing companies face decisions that cut across the business: where to focus, who decides what, which risks to accept and which technology to invest in. Those decisions are easier to get right with a clear, independent view of how the company works today.
We work with founders and leadership teams to provide that view, and to turn it into priorities, responsibilities and choices they can act on.
What we believe - Good decisions need the whole picture.
Business, governance and technology choices affect each other. These principles guide how we advise on all three.

About the founder - Rafael Linhares Dias
Founder of NimScalo, with more than 20 years of experience in technology and management across public-sector, enterprise and SaaS organizations.
On the management side, Rafael has spent much of his career in large, highly regulated organizations, leading governance, modernization strategy and reliability standards for portfolios of mission-critical systems. He defined standards adopted across multiple teams and standardized release management, quality assurance and agile delivery practices.
On the technology side, his experience spans software development, systems architecture, cloud platforms, security and operational resilience, from hands-on engineering to setting technical direction for whole portfolios.
Since founding NimScalo, he has worked with growing companies in several industries and countries on delivery governance, operational risk and cost efficiency. He holds a degree in Computer Science and postgraduate qualifications in artificial intelligence, software testing and user experience.
That experience shapes NimScalo’s approach: processes, governance and technology only hold up when they are designed around the business they serve and the people who run them.
